To be Canadian means loving hockey and your favourite CFL team. It means being proud of the flag that you stitch to your backpack. It's voting for the next Prime Minister not President and speaking english and french not american. Being Canadian is when we not only survive the long winters but enjoy them too. Also enjoying the land from the rocky mountains to the great lakes and everything in between.
Around the world Canadians are known as many different kinds of people. Some people think we live in igloos and ride polar bears. Others think we pronouce "aboot" instead of "about" and say "eh" all the time. But the truth is that we are polite poeple who enjoy all the space we have. So I say lets all put down our hockey sticks, stand up and raise a beer to being Canadian, Eh.
